As the Royalties Payable Coordinator,  you'll be responsible for royalty accounts payable, reconciliation of royalty statements to sub-systems and ensuring payments are made in line with the contract.

Responsibilities

 What you'll do:

  • Enter royalty bills and bill credits from royalty processing system
  • Prepare quarterly payment runs in line with contractual payment terms
  • Review tax forms (W-9 & W-8BEN) for royalty vendors
  • Review and maintain royalty vendor information in accounting system
  • Reconcile royalty statements to balances in the finance system and royalty processing systems
  • Calculate and record royalty client VAT and WHT amounts where applicable
  • Prepare out-of-cycle royalty payments as requested
  • Provide assistance with royalty client inquiries
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance/Royalties department preferred
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data filtering and formatting)
  • Prior experience working with NetSuite, Jira, iMaestro a plus

This position is full-time and paid on an hourly basis. 

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
