The KIDZ BOP marketing team is responsible for marketing and public relations efforts across all departments, including initiatives in brand marketing, music streaming, sales and album releases, social media campaigns, ad campaigns, brand partnerships and sponsorships, live touring, video production, design, and more. 

 

As the KIDZ BOP Marketing Intern, you will get hands-on immersive experience working on marketing and public relations initiatives across all departments and facets of the brand (brand marketing, public relations, music streaming, sales, and album releases, social media, partnerships and sponsorships, live touring, video production, design) You will gain experience working on projects at all stages - from initial development to assisting in fully executing projects. You will also gain a better understanding of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Photoshop. 

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Spring Internship Program will run from Tuesday, January 27th – Friday, April 3rd and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do: 

 

  • Attend team meetings and 1:1s with supervisor
  • Assist with campaigns and initiatives for new music, including album and single releases.
  • Assist with KIDZ BOP playlist initatiatives by building out playlists, fine-tuning descriptions and curating on a day to day basis for KIDZ BOP and other non - KIDZ BOP brands
  • Support various task for DSPs, such as pulling blurbs to pitch for songs to the Concord Stream team, conducting utterance checks etc.
  • Support various YouTube initatives, such as drafting video descriptions, tagging videos, etc.
  • Respond to KIDZ BOP fan mail 
  • Assist brand team in developing marketing materials and create kid-friendly content in the brand voice( e.g., social post, talking points, marketing messages, etc.).
  • Assist the KIDZ BOP team with other departmental needs, such as social media, brand and tour, etc.

Qualifications

What you'll need: 

  • Have interest and familiarity with the KIDZ BOP music and brand  
  • A success candidate is a creative self-starter who can work on multiple projects simultaneously  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Docs.   
  • Passion for marketing, PR, or branded entertainment 
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near New York City 
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, January 27th – Friday, April 3rd. You must be able to work 20 hours/week. 

The hourly rate for this position is $17.87
