As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide HR operational and generalist administrative support for our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support HR initiatives, execute on day-to-day tasks, special projects and will provide the highest level of customer service for our employees. This is a great role for an entry-level professional who is interested in a long-term career as an HR Generalist. Works under close supervision of HR Manager and SVP, Human Resources.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Support HR Business Partners by answering and/or referring employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, employee perks, paid time off, and company policies and by providing general office support.
  • Using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), manage onboarding process for all US Concord locations and complete local onboarding responsibilities.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Ensure accurate entry of new hire information into our HRIS system for smooth onboarding and compliance, including I-9 verification.
  • Prepare status forms and process changes (New Hires/Transfers/Promotions/Exits etc.) for US offices.
  • Ensure all Nashville new hires have a 90-day Intro Period Evaluation. Run reports from HRIS and send managers the evaluation form at least one month before a new hire hits their 90-days. Reminds managers to complete form, addresses questions and ensures evaluations are stored appropriately in HR files.
  • Assist with processing timesheets and other payroll related items for US employees.
  • Handle employee PTO issues, questions, pending requests, and any related requirements.
  • Assist with off-boarding, including conducting exit interviews and gathering other pertinent off-boarding documentation.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and submit to Accounts Payable for payment.
  • Run reports from HR systems and respond to internal and external requests for reports.
  • Plan and implement logistics for meetings, roundtables, including room reservations and technology set-up as needed.
  • Provide on-site support during employee events as needed.
  • Assist with the annual and mid-year Performance Review processes.
  • Assist in administering Workers’ Compensation claims and leave of absence requests.
  • Additional assistance with projects as required.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and diplomacy as the first point of contact for candidates and current employees as an embedded member of our business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Management or related degree preferred or some combination of relevant HR experience.
  • Interest in both HR as well as the music business.
  • General understanding of local and federal employment law such as FMLA, ADA and FLSA preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant HR Experience or some combination of internships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, team player who demonstrates good judgment.
  • A "can do" customer service attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work efficiently.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Knowledge and experience using advanced features of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio).
  • Experience with ADP, iCIMS, Sage or some other payroll/HRIS system is a plus.

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
