As the HR Coordinator, you'll be responsible for providing day-to-day HR administration support for New York office staff.  The HR Coordinator supports our mission by serving as a first point of contact and works with leaders and employees across businesses to ensure Concord is a great place to work for everyone. Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

 

General HR Related Duties:

  • Respond to general inquiries in the New York office related to general policies, employee verifications, performance, payroll and time and attendance etc. and escalate inquiries to others as appropriate.
  • Maintain well-written job description for all roles. Ensure all new hires and promotion requests have corresponding job descriptions with all information completed and using appropriate templates.
  • Using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), manage the onboarding process for all US Concord locations and completes local onboarding responsibilities.
  • Rotate with others in HR to facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Ensure accurate entry of candidate information into the HRIS for smooth onboarding and compliance, including but not limited to I-9 verification and building access setup.
  • Prepare all Status Forms and process changes (New Hires/Transfers/Promotions/Exits etc.) for US offices.
  • Coordinate all NY exit interviews.
  • Track 90-day introductory periods for New York new hires in addition to mid-year and year-end performance evaluations for NY staff.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the NY holiday party.
  • Coordinate all Life Event gifts for NY staff as needed.
  • Provide support with employee training meetings (Performance Management, Anti-Harassment Training, etc.) as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of new hire swag and distribute accordingly.
  • Provide day-to-day support to New York employees on any COVID related matters as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Compensation Related Duties:

  • Support the VP, HR in the administration of the company’s global salary increase and bonus processes.
  • Assist the VP, HR with market pricing roles and setting up job codes as necessary.
  • Research, gather data, run reports and and/or participate in general industry budgeting/forecasting salary surveys.
  • Generate reports from HRIS and conduct basic studies to support effective compensation programs in accordance with Concord’s compensation philosophy 

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ HR experience required. Prior exposure to Compensation related functions preferred.  
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Adobe required.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Laws preferred.   
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills required. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Occasional ability to work beyond the normal workday to meet deadlines required.
  • Successful candidates will have an interest in both HR as well as the business areas supported (music and theatre).

Salary Range: $55,000 - 63,500

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
