As the Financial Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing marketing budgets across our Catalog, Frontline labels and KidzBop. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our record labels and shared services team to ensure accurate financial management and support strategic decision-making. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst based in London to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborates with labels to ensure Marketing budgetary needs are managed and achieved.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage marketing budgets across Concord’s Catalog, Frontline labels and KidzBop, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Financial Monitoring: Track and analyze monthly marketing campaigns, providing variance explanations and ensuring campaigns stay within approved budgets.
  • Accruals Manage the Marketing Expense accrual process, working closely with the labels and accounting team to submit month-end accruals with maximum accuracy.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute comprehensive monthly marketing finance reports for each label.
  • Forecasting: Work with labels to stay aware of changes to their release schedules and actively participate in FP&A’s Live Forecast process to reforecast marketing expenditures for future projects.
  • Collaboration: Meet regularly with labels to discuss ongoing budgetary needs, spend activity and future fund allocation.
  • Strategic Contribution: Support the FP&A team in delivering financial insights and recommendations that enhance marketing effectiveness and resource allocation.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in financial planning, analysis, or budget management within the music, entertainment, or a related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial tools and software, IBM Cognos and Planning Analytics a plus, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for report design and detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
