As the Publishing Sync Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the sync staff in all their day-to-day needs.  

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Manage song ingestion process for all new music delivered from US based signings into Disco (music pitching/searching platform).
  • Oversee song ingestion process for all new music delivered from US based signings into Disco (music pitching/searching platform). Work alongside the UK, Aus, NZ and Berlin teams to ensure song metadata unification (metadata tagging, playlist building, asset organization, uploading new music).
  • Create music e-blasts and send them out to clients.
  • Participate and organize weekly meetings (Sync / Licensing, Listening / Creative, and other meetings as needed with artists and managers, other departments, etc)
  • Run reports, log creative pitches, facilitate expense reports
  • Handle any misc. projects needed by the sync dept. as needed
  • Maintain Tour Calendar; purchase concert tickets for staff and clients
  • Schedule meetings with artists, managers and various partners
  • Represent Concord Music Publishing at various industry events such as concerts, listening parties and showcases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the publishing, music clearance/pitching field.
  • General understanding of music publishing and how it relates to master use and synchronization licenses
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure/deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently under general direction.
  • Ability to remain energetic and positive in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, iTunes, Adobe, Disco and Salesforce (a plus!).

The hourly rate for this position is $25 -30.

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
