As the Client Services Coordinator, you'll join our mission-driven Client Services department to help with the prioritization and advocacy of new and existing clients (songwriters, artists, managers, producers, attorneys, etc) for all non-creative matters. We are looking for someone that is passionate about music and metadata, and who is eager to learn more about music publishing administration and operations. This role is instrumental to keeping our clients happy, informed, and heard throughout the business. In addition, this role provides a wonderful opportunity to work with some of the most talented professionals in the music industry in a casual and welcoming environment. 

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary, administrative point of contact for questions from Concord royalty-generating clients and any internal queries relating to those clients
  • Help solicit client feedback to improve service, user experience, and software features
  • Assist in day-to-day management & troubleshooting of our client-facing products and services (royalty portals) 
  • Collaborate with Creative, Operations, Business Development to improve processes and communication between departments 
  • Help with new royalty-payee onboarding and account setup
  • Assist with song registration and ingestion to Concord’s Song Delivery and Global Release Trackers
  • Assist with the daily, on-going update of Publishing spreadsheets of music metadata tracking (ISRC locations, album title searches, etc)
  • Assist with locating copyright details for Concord’s music catalog
  • Assist with internal research/matching process for new releases

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Comfortable working with large data sets (20,000+rows) in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, or similar large datasets
  • Prior experience working in a client or customer-facing role
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and maintaining composure under stressful/ time-sensitive situations
  • 1+ years' experience working in music publishing with a performing rights society and/or rights management company
  • Prior experience working in CRMs or ticketing systems (HubSpot, Zendesk, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Jira Service Management)
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive on a small team in a fast paced environment

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
