As the Vice President, Licensing & Retail Development,  you'll oversee all global brand licensing and retail initiatives for Concord’s Rodgers & Hammerstein and KIDZ BOP IP. This newly created position is part of Concord’s strategic plan to expand this business area and drive new revenue streams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned licensing professional who has led worldwide consumer products and retail programs for premium brands.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all global brand licensing initiatives and retail partnerships
• Drive revenue growth through the expansion of the brands’ licensing/consumer products business across key categories, including apparel, accessories, décor, toys, electronics, gaming, etc.
• Create multi-year business plan to maximize growth potential year-over-year
• Provide leadership to the Licensing & Retail division with a focus on business development, strategy and planning
• Identify, negotiate and execute domestic and international licenses in key territories including UK, Germany, France and LATAM
• Consistent evaluation of licensee’s performance including sales reports, retail penetration and market share
• Manage and continue to strengthen relationships with KB and R&H’s current/existing list of strategic licensing partners
• Manage existing Licensing Agencies/Consultants and act as day-to-day contact as we develop and launch the brands’ consumer products program
• Identify potential international licensing agencies
• Develop strategic plans, including budgets, forecasts and reporting
• Track sales, revenue and royalties with Finance team
• Work closely with Business & Legal Affairs team to help manage all contracts
• Locate and research prospective licensees, identify best partners and negotiate final contracts; perform analysis of potential new deals, proposals, business plans and revenue opportunities
• Optimize KIDZ BOP’s growing DTC business
• Further develop key retail partnerships, including Amazon and mass retailers
• Spearhead execution of all partnerships, acting as day-to-day contact for all partners
• Work collaboratively with marketing + design teams on the creation of relevant sales + partner pitch tools, including brand style guides
• Internally communicate licensing plans and performance to align relevant teams behind the initiatives

What you’ll need:

• Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of licensing/consumer products and retail experience with major brands
• The successful candidate is a highly organized, creative self-starter
• Ability to represent the KB + R&H brands exceptionally well to all external contacts + partners
• Professional, confident, positive, and calm demeanor
• Must have exceptional written and verbal communications
• Ability to think independently and create and develop ideas that lead to positive brand affinity amongst partners and consumers
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems
• Domestic and International travel

Salary Range: $130,000 - 145,000

*This role has an anticpated start date of April 1st. 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
