As the Administrative Coordinator, Boosey & Hawkes, you'll be responsible for new works administration from initiation to acceptance, as well as maintaining databases and researching information on back catalog works in support of Copyright, Business Affairs, Royalties, Licensing, and other shared services. The Administrative Coordinator provides support across all departments within the US Boosey & Hawkes office and works under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

 

New Works Coordination

  • Liaise with Promotion team on nature of commission or new work
  • Track commissioning agreement to signature and invoicing
  • Coordinate and confirm payments related to new work creation
  • Oversee acceptance and registration of work

Database and Performance Entry

  • Input and maintain all necessary information for new works in databases, including duration, instrumentation, commissioning credit, restrictions, and performance exclusivities
  • Upload information on new works, including upcoming performances, as appropriate to website

Internal and External Communications

  • Assist departments in client management
  • Liaise with clients and their representatives as appropriate
  • Provide communication support and facilitate information sharing between departments

Administrative Support

  • Research and develop reports under supervision of Senior Vice President

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Ability to read music proficiently with knowledge of classical music vocabulary and idioms; a Bachelors’ Degree in music is advantageous.
  • Interest in and appreciation for classical music from the 20th and 21st
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Offiice products helpful

Salary Range: $50,000 - 54,000

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
