The KIDZ BOP Design Team is responsible for marketing efforts across all departments, including initiatives in brand marketing, digital media, album releases, social media campaigns, ad campaigns, brand partnerships and sponsorships, live touring, video production, licensing, sponsorship programs, and more.  

 

As the KIDZ BOP Design Intern, you'll work on digital and print initiatives across all departments and facets of the brand (brand marketing, licensing, album releases, social media, partnerships and sponsorships, live touring, video production.). The intern will gain experience working by contributing to projects at all stages - from initial brainstorming to assisting in fully executing projects. We are looking for designers that contribute to the design culture of our brand!  


Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Spring Internship Program will run from Tuesday, January 21st – Friday, March 28th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Assist with digital media campaigns for the promotion of the KIDZ BOP Live tour,
  • Assist with management of YouTube needs brand communications thumbnails for scheduled video releases.
  • Assist with trend forecasting for the KIDZ BOP brand. Identify trends in youth apparel, color trends, social expressions. Expand upon features of the KIDZ BOP Brand Guide, like apparel designs, patterns, and ‘badges.”

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Creative self-starter who can work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong design sensibility that combines a love of pop music + pop culture
  • Active awareness of design + marketplace trends
  • Playful sensibility as it relates to social media concepts.  
  • Strong foundation in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Illustrator. 
  • Skilled in motion design a plus 
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near New York City.
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, January 21st – Friday, March 28th. You must be able to work 20 hours/week. 

The hourly rate for this position is $17.28
