As the IT Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, overseeing, and ensuring the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. This role works closely with both technical and business resources within our Label Group division, leading projects of various size through all stages of research/investigation/documentation, scoping, planning, execution, testing, review and deployment.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Project manage new feature requests and maintenance to our proprietary repertoire & asset management application with development team and internal stakeholders.
  • Project manage new application development to utilize data & assets from the repertoire management system in innovative ways.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on business goals, development road maps, and prioritization.
  • Work closely with the department’s Business Analyst to develop project proposals based on requirements to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
  • Monitor project costs against budgets during the development lifecycle.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel, modifying schedules or plans as required.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems or a related field; project management and/or general business management; or equivalent, related IT experience.
  • Agile / scrum certification.
  • 2+ years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated competency in a project management role involving the execution of multiple projects, with demonstrated BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Experience with software development projects required.
  • Experience with using Jira/Atlassian is helpful, but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully using “soft skills” or “people skills”.
  • Music industry experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Limited travel required.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
