As the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager, you'll serve as a Finance partner with the International Dept. to support and provide understanding of the financial impact within the ex-USA territories, as well as provide support for global financial analysis. Works under close/direct supervision of the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Primary Recorded Music Finance representative for the UK office
  • Update KPI reporting for weekly financial review
  • Create and distribute monthly international financial statements
  • Prepare and distribute monthly sales and marketing report by territory
  • Reconcile accounts and true up monthly Budget vs. Actual reporting and identify variances
  • Analyze current and forecasted financial data to understand financial status and identify trends
  • Assist in Data Integrity
  • Identify reporting inconsistencies within the Label Groups and help improve the overall financial process
  • Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
  • Assist in developing and preparing annual budgets, reforecast and live model
  • Allocate international budget P&L to various territories at the project level
  • Work with Corporate Tax department to assist in providing accurate financial information for quarterly VAT filings
  • Other general finance tasks

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Professional and must have a firm grasp of both accounting principles and business operations
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills with an ability to manage large data sets
  • Excellent reporting, presentation and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter with good time management skills when urgent deadlines need to be met
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with a high level of commitment to quality work
  • Able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent general ledger accounting, reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Mid-level to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree specializing in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • General agreement and acceptance of the Company’s core values

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
