Client Services is the voice and advocate for our Royalty-generating clients across our three operating divisions. We advocate for our clients through providing both direct support and resources to internal teams and our clients directly. This includes, but is not limited to, efficiently responding to inquiries related to royalty statements and payments and identifying and advocating for the products and features our clients and internal teams need to continue to deliver value to our clients, and in return, the company.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about music and royalty accounting, and who is eager to learn more about music publishing administration and operations. This individual will be deeply involved in the day-to-day royalty administration activities within Concord Music Publishing. This role provides a unique opportunity to experience multiple facets of music publishing, as you will interact and work directly with both creative and operational teams on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to Concord’s roster of global songwriters and business partners
  • Act as the primary, administrative point of contact for inquiries related to our UK and German clients
  • Assist with song registration and ingestion to Concord’s Song Delivery and Global Release Trackers
  • Assist with the daily, on-going update of Publishing spreadsheets of music metadata tracking (ISRC locations, album title searches, etc)
  • Assist with copyright matters for Concords music catalog
  • Assist with setting up and troubleshooting Client Royalty Statement Accounts
  • Assist with day to day management of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool 

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Dual Language - Fluent in English and German OR French, required. 
  • Basic Knowledge of accounting/accountancy
  • Basic knowledge of the music industry and music publishing
  • Self-motivated and extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Preference:

  • Experience with data entry, specifically using an excel type system
  • Prior experience utilizing a SaaS for data management, such as Smartsheets or Airtable
  • Prior experience utilizing project management systems (Jira) 
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and maintaining composure under stressful/ time-sensitive situation

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
