Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Ensuring that data is entered and reported accurately via the various accounting systems used by Concord as it relates to Royalties payable. Contribute to the effectiveness of the Publishing Finance team.

 

What you'll do:  

  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Assist to complete the monthly close
  • Prepare various GL Reconciliations
  • Assist with projects as needed
  • Enter AP interface from royalty processing system
  • Prepare royalty payments quarterly
  • File and maintain all W-9 & W-8BEN for royalty vendors
  • Maintain royalty vendor information in accounting system
  • Reconcile royalty processing system with the GL
  • Record and reconcile royalty advance recoupments
  • Prepare out of cycle royalty payments

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance related field preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with: MS Office applications; experience being hands-on with ERP systems a plus

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
