Craft Recordings is the catalog team at Concord. Our roster includes the catalogs of legendary labels such as Fania, Independiente, Nitro, Prestige, Riverside, Specialty, Stax, Vanguard, Varèse Sarabande, Vee-Jay, Victory and many more.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

Responsible for developing and executing integrated online strategies for Craft Recordings’ brand initiatives, new release/reissue campaigns, and all projects relating to our catalog repertoire. Works under direct supervision.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Work alongside the marketing team to translate catalog campaigns into comprehensive social and digital strategies which serve to communicate legacy, reignite fan-bases, expand audience reach, and drive commercial results
  • Proactively manage assigned social media channels for various label and artists accounts, maintaining multiple editorial calendars
  • Continuously ideate, plan, and develop compelling content, including graphics, photography, video, and copy
  • Assist with the development and optimization of label/artist channels and communities (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit and Discord), as applicable
  • Assist Product Management team with asset curation/production for paid social media campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Social Manager and Influencer team with planning and execution of influencer campaigns, as needed
  • Regularly review social data to develop insights, communicate actionable findings, and evolve strategy
  • Keep abreast of new developments, tools and trends in the digital/social space, identifying the potential to capitalize on new opportunities

 

Qualifications

What you’ll need :

  • 2+ years’ experience in the social/digital space
  • Bachelor’s degree in media, communications, journalism, marketing or related field preferred
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about music (wide-ranging genres and eras)
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content with different voices
  • Graphic design and video editing capabilities are a plus
  • Well versed in social media, content marketing, and technology/digital trends, able to consistently generate new ideas in an evolving media landscape
  • Goal and results-oriented, with a keen attention to detail
  • A team player with an adaptive, self-effective and collaborative attitude

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.

 

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000
