As the Rental Services Coordinator for European American Music Dist. Co, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the rental of hire materials (sheet music) to performing arts organizations in North America, including the processing of perusal and rental orders, requests for rental fee quotes, and invoicing. The catalogs this role is associated with are Schott, Universal Edition, Bärenreiter, and Faber, among others.  You will also be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and emails related to rental inquiries and provide general administrative support as needed.  Above all, we strive to exemplify Concord’s core values; to celebrate artistry, act with integrity, empower our community, and create opportunity.  Works under moderate supervision of the Rental Services Manager.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

 

  • Processes perusal and rental orders in an internal library database for performing arts organizations and educational institutions in North America to provide rental material for their performances
  • Process requests for rental fee quotes and general inquiries by email and phone to help performing arts organizations budget and determine programming for upcoming performing seasons.
  • Prepare invoices for finalized orders and update payment information as necessary in an internal library database
  • Follow up with customers about unpaid invoices and outstanding balances
  • Update monthly performing rights organization reports for ASCAP and BMI on excel
  • Provide general administrative support to the Rental Library as needed

 

 

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • Excellent multitasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new programs and platforms
  • A self-starter attitude - able to work independently and to prioritize for various levels of urgency
  • Knowledge or education: Bachelor’s degree (major or minor) in music preferred.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
