Responsibilities

Position Purpose:  Finance & Accounting Coordinator, Theatrical is responsible for entering information into the accounting software, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate. Duties include making journal or ledger entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, credit control, assisting with audit and other ad hoc finance duties.

 

What you'll do:

  • Part of the UK finance team, working within a Theatrical team of three made up of Finance & Accounting Manager and two Finance & Accounting Coordinators
  • Making journal or ledger entries
  • Reconciliation of bank statements and swift resolution of unknown receipts
  • Review of monthly aged debtor reports and follow up credit control with Licensing teams
  • Exposure to credit cards and accounts payable during holiday periods
  • Assisting the Theatrical team with client queries
  • Working with auditors to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Ongoing process improvement and review
  • Ad hoc duties within the UK Finance function, as and when required
  • Attend regular meetings with other departments to ensure deadlines are met
  • Opportunity for growth and expansion of duties as company continues to grow

Qualifications

What you need:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar accounts role
  • Experience of working with multi-currency payments and bank accounts
  • High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking
  • Clear communication and ability to communicate information to non-finance staff
  • Ability to work independently on problem solving and reconciliations
  • NetSuite experience (preferred, but not essential)

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
