The Corporate Communications department represents Concord’s brand and mission through consistent messaging and strategy. It oversees the development of brand collateral and facilitates all internal and external communications as well as the philanthropic initiatives events planned by the Company. In executing these responsibilities, we are responsible for the company’s brand within the industry, to its stakeholder and to its staff, artists, songwriters, composers and playwrights.

 

As the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will be an integral part of a new and growing communications department at Concord. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, you will assist in all day-to-day functions of the department while being an ambassador for Concord within the industry, to its stakeholder and to its staff, artists, songwriters, composers and playwrights.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Compose and/or edit company communications, internal and external
  • Facilitate the creation of ads, print and electronic
  • Keep all corporate documents up to date and available for all stakeholders
  • Make sure that Concord’s digital presence is up to date at all times
  • Work with the Communications Coordinator in expanding our corporate social media presence
  • Create presentation materials for executives and assist with content for company meetings
  • Assist in developing stories to pitch to national and international media
  • Represent Concord’s branding, mission and core values to all stakeholders and be able to answer questions about them

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 5 years experience in corporate communications with medium to large company or agency
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Outstanding, well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • A negative opinion of the oxford comma
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A vigilant attention to detail
