As the Art Director/Graphic Designer, you will bring the brand’s vision to life through conceptualizing and designing fun, high-quality graphic content. In this role, you will be a creative self-starter with a pop culture sensibility, working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced (and very fun) environment. Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Conceptualize and oversee all creative elements for the brand 
  • Design album & consumer product packaging, promotional & collateral materials, POP/POS materials, print & digital ads, and live event graphics 
  • Implement creative, high quality design solutions that meet core marketing & advertising, sales and digital strategies for the brand 
  • Ensure brand & design consistency across all media and sales platforms by working collaboratively with the global music, marketing, digital, social media, production and live touring departments 
  • Partner with the marketing department to liaison with external partners to direct the implementation of key brand assets 
  • Assist in the creation of graphics packages for TV commercials and music video content 
  • Ensure projects follow the production schedule to meet all deadlines 
  • Manage and Art Direct the development of brand style guides 
  • Help art direct multiple talent photo shoots annually, managing a variety of budgets 
  • Photo Editing: select & prepare photos for use in packaging and marketing materials 
  • Art direct in-house and freelance designers 
  • Manage and mentor Jr. Designer 
  • Manage design budgets

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 4+ years of commercial design/art direction experience within the consumer products, music and/or branded entertainment space 
  • BFA in Art & Design 
  • Extensive knowledge of design programs is essential, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) 
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality creative 
  • Understanding of motion graphics 
  • Understanding of typography, layout & information architecture 
  • Working knowledge of printing procedures, photography and illustration 
  • Critical eye for composition and color theory 
  • Ability to trend forecast a plus 
  • Experience working on national marketing & advertising campaigns 
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Outstanding creative thinking skills 
  • Understanding of marketing & branding concepts 
  • Flexibility to deal with last minute projects and unforeseen issues 
  • Successful candidate is a creative self-starter with a pop culture sensibility who can work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Must submit an online portfolio for review
